A Drive Through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park: Cades Cove
A common question we saw on social media during National Parks Week was, “What is your favorite National Park?” Our answer is, “Always the one we are currently visiting.”
And it’s true. We have loved every National Park we have visited. There’s not a single disappointing thing about any of them. They are truly America’s treasures.
There is one, however, that tugs at our heart. With each visit to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we become more deeply enchanted with it. On our last visit, we drove through Cades Cove Loop Road three times (we lucked out with minimal traffic) and also visited the Sugarlands Visitor Center area.
We made several attempts while making this video to add words but nothing quite captured the beauty, solitude, and wildlife encounters we had so we decided to just let the park speak for itself.
If you’ve never had an opportunity to visit this amazing National Park, we hope you get a feeling for how special this park really is. If you have visited this park, we hope it brings back wonderful memories.
