We were a little nervous picking up the truck camper because we know absolutely nothing about them. The camper hadn’t been loaded onto a truck for seven years but was loaded onto a trailer and used as a hunting camp. We weren’t sure if all the equipment was there or if it would work if it was. Fortunately, with the help of a friend, we got it loaded and then unloaded at our daughter’s house.
All we know about the camper is that it is a Northstar. It was purchased used by the previous owner seven years ago. The previous owner updated the camper, but it ended up becoming a cabin for hunters. They loaded the camper on a trailer to move it around, instead of the back of their truck.
We are absolutely new to this style of camper… and we have learned alot already! It’s going to be quite the project but we are very excited to get started on it. We’re really thankful our daughter is letting us restore it in her yard.
